Present-day Classic Legendary Bottle shown
1913 / All-steel vacuum bottle invented
Hot coffee, miles from home.
William Stanley Jr. combined steel with vacuum insulation in 1913. The idea was practical: a portable bottle that could keep a hot drink hot. More than a century later, taking your own coffee is still the whole point.
