Bonded Filters, Pre-folded Squares
$11 at Chemex
Made for this model
What it adds: The thick bonded paper the brewer was designed around, which is what takes the bitterness and the grit out.
Why it fits: Chemex lists the coffeemakers these filters fit and rules out only the three cup models, so they suit the Eight Cup Classic.
How we checked the fit
- Chemex states which coffeemakers the pre-folded squares fit
Fits all CHEMEX® Coffeemakers except for the Three cup Class Series (CM-1C), Three cup Handblown Series (CM-1), Three cup Glass Handle Series (CM-1GH), and the Funnex (CM-FNX).
- Chemex gives the item code for the eight cup Classic on its own page

Chemex
Glass Coffeemaker Cover
