- Drive External belt drive, U-Turn silicone belt

U-Turn Audio
Orbit Drive Belt
$12 at U-Turn Audio
Made for this model
What it adds: A spare silicone belt for a few dollars, the one part of the deck that is certain to perish and slow the platter down.
Why it fits: The Orbit Plus drives its platter off an outboard belt, and U-Turn sells the replacement by generation so the owner picks the loop cut for their deck.
Gen 1 and Gen 2 belts are not interchangeable.
How we checked the fit
- U-Turn describes it as the Orbit replacement belt

U-Turn Audio
Cork Mat
$20 at U-Turn Audio
Made for this model
What it adds: Cork in place of the felt mat that came on the platter, which damps better and stops the record lifting with the sleeve.
Why it fits: U-Turn cuts this to 300 mm for the Orbit platter and pitches it against the felt mat an Orbit Plus arrives with, which is the mat that carries static.
How we checked the fit
- U-Turn compares it to the felt mat supplied with every Orbit
Every Orbit comes with a felt mat, but our cork mat improves acoustics and can help reduce static.

U-Turn Audio
Cue Lever
$50 at U-Turn Audio
Made for this model
What it adds: Lowers the needle onto the groove on a damped lever instead of by hand, which saves the stylus and the record edge.
Why it fits: U-Turn keeps the cue lever off the Orbit Plus and lists it as a feature of the dearer Orbit Special, so this is the part that closes that gap, snapped onto the tonearm base.
Gen 1 and Gen 2 cue levers are not interchangeable.
How we checked the fit
- U-Turn says it installs on any Orbit turntable
Easy to install on any Orbit Turntable.
- U-Turn's Orbit Special page lists the cue lever as one of its features
